KETCHUM, IDAHO - Long-time environmental activist, Carole King, and members of the Alliance for the Wild Rockies, were hosts to Rep. Christopher Shays (R-CT) for a four-day tour of the Idaho back country.

The trip gave the Congressman a first hand look of the five distinct ecosystems which would be protected under the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act (NREPA). The bill has bipartisan support in the House.

BURBANK, CALIFORNIA - In case you haven't heard, Carole King and daughter Louise Goffin perform a new version of the King/Stern classic "Where You Lead," for The Gilmore girls, WB TV's hit television series.

The lyrics fit perfectly as the theme song for the audacious Gilmore girls, a single mother raising her precocious teenage daughter.

More of Carole's music can be heard in the series during the fall television season.

The Gilmore girls aired Tuesday nights at 8pm on the WB.
