WASHINGTON, D.C. - When Carole isn't writing songs, she can be frequently seen in the halls of Congress lobbying for the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act (NREPA). We are pleased to report that as of July 25th, the NREPA has attained its highest number of co-sponsors to date: 154 plus the lead sponsor, Christopher Shays (R-CT), which adds up to 155 House members in support of H.R. 1105.

NEW YORK, NY - Carole King honed her journalistic skills in the August issue of Interview Magazine by interviewing actor/singer Mandy Moore for the magazine. Moore spoke to King from Prague about her fall CD release Coverage, which included Moore's covers of hits by Joe Jackson, Debbie Harry, Elton John, Carole King and others. In the interview, Moore told King why she chose "I Feel the Earth Move" and talked about her own growth as a songwriter, producer and artist.
