LOS ANGELES, CA - Carole King joined Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and comedian Larry David in participating at an Earth Day event April 22, 2007 on the George Washington University campus before an audience of 5,000 students. The historic event was the culmination of The Stop Global Warming Virtual March and Tour led by activist Laurie David and will feature musical and comedic performances, along with clips from the Academy Award-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, and pre-taped appearances by Senator John McCain and former Vice President Al Gore.

New York, NY - An autographed photo, "The Living Room Tour" CD, two "You've Got a Friend" wristbands and a "Beautiful" lyric latte mug are just a few of the items donated by Carole King for an online auction to benefit Musicians on Call

Musicians on Call is a non-profit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities in an effort to facilitate healing through the power of music. The auction ended on April 17, 2007.
