Tokyo, Japan - Final preparations were underway for Carole King's triumphant return to Japan next month, for Welcome To My Living Room Tour Japan 2008. In addition to the eight live concerts, Carole appeared on the television variety show SMAPXSMAP. Hosted by the musical act SMAP, SMAPXSMAP airs every Monday night on Fuji TV. The episode featuring Carole King aired Monday, November 17th.

HILLSBORO, OH - Carole King completed four days on the campaign trail in Wisconsin and Ohio in support of Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama.

In Wisconsin, she made stops in Sturgeon Bay, Shawano, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Watertown, Fort Atkinson, Elkhorn and Milwaukee.

In Ohio, she made stops in Wauseon, Defiance, Findlay, Van Wert, Circleville, Nelsonville and Hillsboro.

Her extensive trips to Wisconsin and Ohio are on the heels of similar treks throughout Missouri, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania.

San Diego, CA - In September 2008, Carole King took part in a very special event called Frosted Pink with a Twist. The show, which took place at the San Diego Sports Arena, was a blend of music and sport - and included one of the first television appearances of the US Gymnastic Team since their medal-winning performances in Beijing.
