WASHINGTON, DC – Carole King was recently interviewed by David Mark, Senior Editor of Politico, in a piece entitled "A Natural Environmentalist", which talks about Carole's role as environmental activist, and her ongoing advocacy of the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act (NREPA). She discussed what influences led her to seek to conserve wilderness in her home state of Idaho (as well as four other states - Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming).

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON - Carole King headlined the second annual Washington "Wine Weekend" Festival to benefit Camp Korey, a medically-supervised camp staffed with physicians, nurses and trained camp counselors for children suffering from serious and life-threatening illnesses. As a long-time friend of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman and a supporter of his Hole in the Wall Camps - of which Camp Korey is a member - Carole has been participating in the annual Hole in the Wall Gang Camp galas for 16 years.

NEW YORK, NY - On July 7th, the New York Times printed an editorial, entitled "For a Wilder Rockies", which discusses the progress of the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act (NREPA) in Congress, since its inception in 1991.
