'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical' Receives Seven 2014 Tony Award Nominations - Carole Appeared At Live Broadcast Sunday, June 8

The 2014 Tony Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman, was broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on Sunday, June 8th on CBS.  Carole King appeared and performed at the live broadcast.

This year's highly anticipated 2014 Tony Award Nominations were announced on April 29 and 'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical' has received seven nominations!

The 'Beautiful' nominations include:

BEST MUSICAL–Beautiful:The Carole King Musical
BEST BOOK OF A MUSICAL – Douglas McGrath
BEST PERFORMANCE BY A LEADING ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL – Jessie Mueller
BEST PERFORMANCE BY A FEATURED ACTOR IN A MUSICAL – Jarrod Spector
BEST PERFORMANCE BY A FEATURED ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL – Anika Larsen
BEST ORCHESTRATIONS – Steve Sidwell
BEST SOUND DESIGN OF A MUSICAL – Brian Ronan

Carole surprised the cast and crew in April with an unannounced appearance onstage after the curtain call as they were doing an appeal for the Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS.
