Carole King Interview in Politico
WASHINGTON, DC – Carole King was recently interviewed by David Mark, Senior Editor of Politico, in a piece entitled "A Natural Environmentalist", which talks about Carole's role as environmental activist, and her ongoing advocacy of the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act (NREPA). She discussed what influences led her to seek to conserve wilderness in her home state of Idaho (as well as four other states - Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming). There is also optimism in her words, now that the Obama Administration is making the preservation of the environment a high priority.
Politico is a cutting edge website (and accompanying print newspaper) that covers and analyzes political news with a focus on national politics, using the tools of blogs and real time updating. Politico's emphasis is on the stories that illuminate the personalities, relationships, clashes, ideas and political strategies playing out in the shadows of official Washington.
